"My name is Jess and I am from Columbus, Ohio. I am a recovering addict with a little over Eight years clean. I work a 12-step program and have been given a life that seemed unattainable when I was using. Yoga in general has always been a pillar in my spiritual practice as well as physical health. Anytime I have lost touch with, I know it is always there to come back to, which is what happened with my Ashtanga practice. This community is comparable with the one I have found in my recovery community, and I have felt nothing but warm welcomes and support. I have always been taught that we cannot be given what we need without giving it away as well. I wish to be able to give back what has been freely given to me. "
